Graphic Design

I have extensive experience doing inhouse graphic design, working on key messages and rebranding campaigns. In addition I am well versed in creating content for print, web and social media channels. I have also worked on a number of projects on a freelance basis.

Below are a selection of designs I have created to visually communicate across different mediums. I primarily work using Adobe Suite and I am currently available to work on design projects. If you have a need for my creative skills, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Wedding Stationary

Wedding Stationary for Goldney Hall Wedding

The main idea was to communicate the celebration of the union between a Scottish man and his Chinese bride. I created the thistles (flower of Scotland) and used a Chinese symbol meaning good fortune to represent the oriental element.

I designed the invites, menus, placeholders and seating plan around a simple theme. All of the wedding stationery had to represent the simplicity and elegance of the location and the happy nature of the event.

Book Cover

Transiting Book Cover

The brief for this was to design a front cover for a travelling memoir sold as an e-book. The silhouettes are a nod to the introspective nature of solo travel, combined with the background image of a road in a South East-Asian country to give a flavour of the region. I chose an Eastern style font for the title and faded the colours to a hue of orange like the saffron robes worn by Buddhist monks, common in the region.

Business Cards

Cover Band Business Cards

The brief for this musician’s band’s business cards was to produce something simple but striking. The instructions were to use black and white, involve hats and also contain their slogan ‘hats entertainment’. I used a digital spray can with a nozzle image of top hats to create the circular pattern, chose the fonts and added the text.

The Mad Hatters can be found gigging around West London, covering the biggest hits in ska, pop and reggae.
