A mind map is an an interesting tool to gather and represent information so that it appeals to both sides of the brain. This is a great way to visually organize information. It is hierarchical and can show relationships among pieces of the whole (often created around a single concept). This is usually drawn as an image in the center of a blank page. Associated representations of ideas such as images or words and parts of sentences are added. Major ideas are connected directly to the central concept whilst other ideas branch out from those.
