As I barely understand the meaning behind the characters, my initial attempts at creating cohesive artworks are limited, hence the confusion and chaos in my life!
However, I will attempt to explain; the shapes in the background are my representation of people and how we lock together in an unrecognizable pattern to form larger social groups. Now-a-days information concerning people is constantly bundled into packages of data that fit so well into diagrams and info-graphics, sitting neatly within boundaries as the shapes do here. The actual characters provide a semblance of contrast as they are hand ‘drawn’, I hope this adds to the feeling of confusion and chaos.
