Discovery

This is the fifth creation in my project on thinking big, inspired by the book by Richard Newton; The Little Book of Thinking Big. The project is to create ten pieces of artwork, one for each chapter in the book including the introduction, each representing a message relating to thinking big i.e. thinking more productively and creatively.

The Chinese characters in the centre of the eye mean discovery. The message in the chapter of the book is about allowing your mind to notice things in the world around you, to inspire you and enhance your creativity. Reflecting this, the characters are so small that you will see the eye first and then you will ‘notice’ the characters.

As a maybe interesting aside the eye in the creation is my eye, extracted from a photo of myself and my fiancé on a trip on the London Eye of all places, taken on my Birthday this year.
