This is one of those pieces of artwork where the initial idea started off far too complex and I ended up with a final result looking very simple. The Chinese character means handsome/elegant or beautiful.
I was originally going to use a picture of me in a suit and manipulate it but it didnt work out. Trying to represent handsome in a coloured circle is fairly difficult so I settled on a cool colour and removed some wavey lines, which in a stretch of the imagination could represent elegance… maybe!
