Practicing with the paper settings, I created this simple piece. There are two layers of custom made paper which I ‘scribbled’ on, repeated to make the pattern that forms the background. I didn’t scribble the characters – they are an experiment with the straight line drawing feature. I think scribble in Chinese usually refers to graffiti but I use it here to relate to doodling with a pen.
